What to Wear to Cheltenham in November - Ladies

Outfit inspiration for The Open, Cheltenham, 13-15th November – time to tog up in your finest tweed and roll out the country fashion barrel.

Cheltenham Ladies Love to Layer

Without doubt the critical thing to remember about winter dressing for race day is- it’s all about outwear – statement coats, hats, boots and bags. And Cheltenham ladies love to layer. You’ll spot them in the Club Enclosure swaddled head to immaculately groomed toe in layers of luxury textiles. Faux fur, cashmere, moleskin, suede and tweed – the full cast of country classics. A while back we scribbled a post on race day style – What to Wear to the Races. Just a little word to the fashion wise about stepping out at the races…..based on our lengthy consideration of these weighty matters. It’s been a popular post and is definitely worth a read…. Meantime cast an eye over the looks we’ve put together for this year’s flat racing season. Starter’s gun at the ready –

Sumptuous Layers

Wrap yourself in layers upon layer of cosseting cashmere and tweed for a chic race ready look. Layer can be cast off easily if indoors but you'll be very grateful for them outdoors.

Creme Caramel

The centre of attention in this feminine autumn combo is the beautiful cut Anna Lascata Georgine skirt, lots of lovely swirly movement and long enough to be chill proof. But just to be sure we've applied a swaddling layer of Helen Moore faux fur.

Betting on Blue

This understated look is all about the superb tailoring of the Anna Lascata Alexandra Coat, and the flamboyant Fairfax and Favor boots. Touches of brighter blue and grey add highlights. See the full A Hume Ladieswear Collection.
