Returns & Exchanges

We offer a 28 days returns policy for refund or exchange.

For UK customers looking to return items purchased before 26.02.2025 please purchase a Royal Mail Returns Label attach to your parcel and take to your nearest post office. For those customers who purchased after this date please see instructions below on our returns portal.

Returning from the UK

Parcels can be returned using a Royal Mail Returns Label for £3.95 and can be purchased here. Returns can be made in-store free of charge.

If using our returns label:

  1. Purchase a returns label – this will then be sent to your email address
  2. Print off your Royal Mail label and attach to your parcel
  3. Take your parcel to your local Post Office

All items should be packaged up securely with all tags attached and in an un-used condition.

Exchanges are re-dispatched free of charge.

Returns from outwith the UK

Parcels are returned at your own cost.

We strongly recommend you obtain a certificate of postage from the Post Office as we are responsible for your parcel only once it has been received into our store.

Items lost in transit will not be treated as returned. For international returns, you must clearly mark the parcel as a return for refund or exchange and include the original tracking number and FedEx/Royal Mail Air Way Bill number where possible. If you do not include these, the return shipment may incur further charges, which we, Humes Outfitters will not be held liable for.

Please remember to enclose the Returns Slip that comes with your purchase stating whether you would like an exchange or refund on your order.

Returning for an exchange

Please provide details on your returns slip of the item/size/colour you with to exchange for.

Exchanges will be re-dispatched within 48 hours of receipt of your return.

If the new item you require costs less than the one you have returned we will refund the difference. If your exchange costs more than the one you have returned we will need to take an additional payment from you before we can send your exchange.


Returns Policy

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us within 28 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange as long as it is unused and in its original packaging.

We are not able to refund any return postage charges, but we will send any exchange items free of charge to UK Mainland.

Please note delivery charges apply to exchanges out with UK Mainland unless the product originally ordered was faulty.

We will not refund or offer an exchange on orders that have been altered or made to measure.


Goods damaged in transit

In the event of a product being damaged on receipt it should be returned for our inspection immediately. 

Before a replacement product or refund can be issued, the product must be returned for our inspection as the product may have to be returned to the manufacturer for testing.

Under no circumstances must a product be used when damaged, as you will be deemed to have accepted it in its damaged condition. 

All postage and packaging fees will be reimbursed for valid damage claims.
