RM Williams Boot Style Guide

RM Williams boots are renowned for their quality, durability, unique style and manufacturing process. Each boot is handcrafted by the skilled workers in their factory in Adelaide. Whilst their reputation for creating the finest boots available is undeniable, sometimes it is difficult to know which boot is the right RM Williams boot for you.

Each boot goes through over 80 handheld processes at the factory in Adelaide. RM Williams boots are renowned for their handcrafting and in particular the singular piece of leather that is used. The single piece of leather results in one seam at the back of the boot, making it more durable and better fitting. All RM Williams sole units are Good Year Welted. The welt stitching uses hot wax dipped thread for added durability and strength. A granulated corkalene filler offers increased cushioning between the insole and outsole.

    The greasy kip leather used in the Gardener boot is a heavy chrome tanned hide making it a heavy duty performance leather. Oils are added to the uppers to make the leather water resistant.
